What is the Osaka Investment Support Program?
The Osaka Investment Support Program is a service provided for companies and organizations in Japan and abroad that are interested in expanding their operations in Osaka City and have concrete business plans. The IBPC Osaka Investment Promotion Center, a division established within Osaka City Government to promote domestic and foreign investments in Osaka City, offers extensive support services tailored to your specific needs.

- ・Subsidy for participating in exhibitions/business conventions
(Up to 150,000 yen per company)
A subsidy is provided only for exhibitions/business conventions held in Osaka City and with the approval of Osaka City. - ・Transportation arrangement
Cars can be arranged for your convenience when you visit a company for a business meeting, meet a consultant, visit real estate property etc. This service is only provided with accompaniment by IBPC Osaka staff.? - ・Arrangement of company briefing session and support for bringing as many participants as possible to the session

How to Participate in the Program
- Application
- ・Please submit an application form and other necessary documents (company profile, product brochure etc.) to the IBPC Osaka Investment Promotion Center or an Overseas Office of Osaka City. If you apply for exhibition participation subsidy, please also send a brochure or literature of the exhibition in which you will exhibit.

- ・You will be notified as to whether your application has been accepted, after an examination of your company profile and business plan.
- ・The Center might contact you to ask about details of the services you have requested.

- ・After the program, we will provide follow-up support and assistance to help you set up a business base.

※Please submit your application well in advance of your arrival in Osaka. If your application is submitted too late, we may not be able to meet all of your requests.
※Please note that if we receive a large number of applications, preference is given to applicants primarily engaged in the Priority Industries* of Osaka City.
(*)Priority Industries: medical and welfare; lifestyle and culture; information and telecommunications; environment; human resources; biotechnology and nanotechnology; and robot technology
※Participants in this program may be requested to cooperate in questionnaire surveys and PR activities regarding the investment promotion programs of Osaka City.
※If your office to be established in Osaka City meets the requirements set by Osaka City, you are entitled to the"Osaka Business Establishment Promotion Subsidy for Priority Industries"and other subsidies.
