This event will take place at the venue of Tech Osaka Summit—one of western Japan’s largest innovation conferences, bringing together startups and ecosystem leaders from across Japan and around the world.
We encourage Japanese companies, investors, and businesses interested in collaborating with international companies or startups, as well as those interested in doing business in Osaka, to bring your business cards and join us!
Last year’s event reached capacity early, but this year we’ve expanded to a larger venue so we can welcome even more participants. Don’t miss out—we look forward to seeing you there!

  • CEO, CarterIGNITE K.K.
  • Born and raised in Australia, Dominic studied Marketing and Japanese at the University of New South Wales. He began his career at Millward Brown in Australia, a consultancy focused on branding, media, and communications, before moving to Japan in 1999 to help set up the company’s local office.
    With over 25 years of experience in Japan, Dominic has cultivated strong relationships with clients and partners. He specialises in providing prescient marketing analysis and strategies, attuned to both Japanese culture and buyer habits.
    In addition to his work, Dominic regularly contributes to the community through guest lectures and consultative roles. He offers insights on market entry, entrepreneurship, and consumer trends in Japan, providing a balanced perspective on the complexities of the contemporary Japanese market.

  • Wada FoodTech is an AIoT hot-chain food technology platform that empowers restaurants to significantly expand their sales reach to customers' doorsteps. We enable restaurants to extend their sales to locations typically inaccessible, such as schools, hospitals, and construction sites. Using our patented hot-chain logistics and hot-chain bento machines, we dispense warm, fresh bentos from restaurants that taste just-cooked to end users in just 17 seconds. Our technology has earned eight patents in the US, Japan, and China, and has been validated by the sale of over 800,000 bento boxes across Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia.
    Wada FoodTech has been recognized by Forbes as one of the "Asia 100 to Watch" and has been featured in prominent media outlets, including Nikkei, the Financial Times, Forbes, and Capital.

  • Mr. Hideaki Nakazawa
  • Managing Director, lalamove Japan K.K.
  • Engaged for seven years as a strategy consultant supporting Japanese companies in their expansion into Southeast Asia, subsequently held the position of Director at the Japan subsidiary of a top-tier online travel agency in Asia, and later served as Head of Channel Sales and Partnerships at a U.S. food technology company.
    Joined Lalamove Japan out of alignment with the mission to revitalize Japan by addressing logistics challenges through technology.

  • Mr. Tomokazu Morisawa
  • CEO, The DECK, Inc.
  • CEO of The DECK Inc., a coworking, event, and makerspace hub in Osaka that empowers digital nomads, startups, creators, and enterprises to collaborate and innovate. Positioned as a gateway to Japan and Asia, The DECK provides a landing pad for international entrepreneurs and a platform for cross-border collaboration.
    He has spoken at international conferences on innovation in urban development, coworking, and digital nomadism, and lectures on narrative-driven marketing in business development programs. He also coordinates study tours for universities and business groups.
    Previously, Tomokazu worked in IT and healthcare, managing global teams and CRM systems across East Asia. He holds an MBA from HULT International Business School and has expertise in talent management, startup ecosystem building, and international business partnerships.
